Getting Going With Writing Your Family History
6 November 2004 G&FH Agenda
UW G&FH Alumni November Meeting
TOPIC: Getting Going With Writing Your Family History.
What are methods you use to develop a story line for family History? How do you make characters of ancestors interesting? How do you clarify your idea and identify what's unique about my story?
PRESENTER: Waverly Fitzgerald, a writing teacher for 25 years, a UWFH&G alumna who loves to teach about writing, especially relating to history. Her Newsletter for Writers is full of ideas and encouragement for those of us who are dreaming about writing our family's story.
DATE: Saturday, November 6, 2004
TIME: 10 - 12 am
LOCATION: 2nd floor meeting room, NARA.
Hope to see you there!
PS - Lisa Marker will once again be bringing door prizes for a series of drawings at the end of the meeting. She wanted to let everyone know that if they have that "extra" something at home that they would like to donate to the drawing, please feel free to bring it. And for those of you who haven't had the pleasure and fun of doing the drawing, just come and see what happens. It's fun!
