Linda has authored a blog for over a year and just celebrated her 100th post on her personal GeneaBlog the footnoteMaven.
Come learn:
* What is blogging, who can do it, the advantages and disadvantages?
* How do you create a blog, and what should you put on a blog?
* Finding genealogy blogs, keeping track of blogs.
* Some of my favorite genealogy bloggers.
* A demonstration of creating a blog and publishing it.
Specific questions about "Starting Your Own Genealogy/Family Research Blog"
may be emailed to Linda at palmerlr@comcast.net so that she may incorporate
them into her lecture.
Where:
Redmond Regional Public Library
15990 N.E. 85th, Redmond 98052
Time:
10 - 1 (30 minutes to set the chairs up and take them down)
Meeting to start at 10:30 and end at 12:30
Parking: Handicap may park in the parking lot. The District Court is next to the Library and is not open on Saturday. We are asked to park in the District Court lot.
